Jonathan brings over 25 years’ experience in UK and international M&A. He joined the business in 2010, founding the Corporate Finance team to lead larger, more complex UK and European transactions.
Appointed CEO in 2018, he led the employee buy-out in 2022. Previously a Director at EY, he trained at BDO. A Chartered Accountant (FCA) with the CF qualification, he advises entrepreneurial clients on trade sales and private equity deals across sectors.

Andy leads the client journey, mentoring the Initium deal team and advising entrepreneurs on value creation, exit preparation, deal strategy and negotiations.
Since joining in 2002, he has led over 70 transactions, including company sales to UK and international strategic buyers. His sector experience spans IT services, software and SaaS, TICC, healthcare, financial services and industrials, alongside PE-backed management buy-outs and growth capital transactions.
