Building on a charity initiative led by David Fenton and The Marketing Centre, Liberti Club is promoting Challenge for Change as a group wide campaign in 2026.
This 30-day movement challenge from 30th August to 30th September will raise money for YoungMinds, the UK’s leading mental health charity for young people.
“This is completely voluntary, with an app to track funds raised and distance covered,” explains David Fenton, Regional Director of The Marketing Centre. “You can choose whether to raise money for Young Minds, which is being supported by Liberti and The Marketing Centre, or a charity that you already support. The framework is fully flexible to support all options.”
Over the last five years, David has combined fundraising with social activities to join-up his network with fellow Regional Directors to build connections while helping to change lives.
“This brings the Liberti Club mission to life with activities that bring our ecosystem together,” David explains. “Regional Liberti organised walks provide a great opportunity to bring together principals, customers, suppliers, charities and partners so there is a commercial opportunity to build new, and develop existing, business relationships. Spread the word and expand your networks while having fun in the process.”
“One in four young people have a mental health condition, according to YoungMinds, with fewer entry level jobs putting even more pressure on the next generation of talent,” adds Alex Evans, Director of Liberti Club. “As an ecosystem for senior professionals building portfolio careers, Liberti Club is proud to endorse an initiative that strengthens networks, builds connections and potentially creates opportunities for their children who are just starting their careers.”
If you would like to participate in this initiative, visit https://www.challengeforchange.org.uk/ and sign up with the app here. Let David know of any events you organise and he will publicise them on the Challenge for Change website and social media.
